The main differences between v2 and v1 are the following:
* The fabric inside and out is more durable and much more resistant to abrasion.
* The opening is a little wider making the shoes even easier to get on and off
* Slightly longer strap handles wide feet or braces better, often without the need for a strap extender
* The larger and higher placed pull loop on the back makes pulling the shoes on even easier

I was so excited to try out these new shoes that were recommended to me by my PT as my son is currently in an ankle brace and this is wide enough to fit his brace. He tried them on and they didn’t squeak I thought it was due to the brace so I didn’t think much about them until I was taking off his shoes that evening and I noticed the white switch was missing. I reached out to customer service and received no reply, which is a shame. I ordered two pairs (one black and one gray) and my son loves when the others squeaked and gives him confidence as he is trying to walk.

My toddler really likes the print. The toe box is a little less wide than the same brand shoes. Makes it more difficult to put on. The description is also accurate that sizing is different. The sandals are shorter in size compared to regular sizing in the shoes.
I've been buying Ikiki shoes for a couple of years now for my son who wears SMOs. They were the best shoe we've found to fit over his braces. He also has low muscle tone and they were the most lightweight option. He also loves the squeaking and it encourages him to walk. Now my younger son, who does not wear SMOs is getting his hand me downs and we love them for everyday wear for him. They are easy to slip on his feet and because of the larger opening we never feel like they are restricting his movement.
Very helpful with my granddaughters leg conditioner.
We love these sandals for our grand daughter. They are easy to put on and take off and they hold up so well. They are also super cute!
These shoes are super comfortable and easy to put on. Granddaughter loves them and so do we.
They worked great. We used them on a pair of Adidas and a pair of Nike.

Our kids love their “squeakers”! The fit is very roomy which is perfect for our toddler boy. Our girl has narrow feet so usually wears socks with hers. The designs are adorable and the squeak is so cute. We received a pair as a hand-me-down and both kids wore these with great happiness. And when they outgrew them they each got their own brand new ones. The sandals are awesome for summer and I like that they are closed toe. Have already recommended these shoes to many friends!

Great shoes for AFO and easy to put on. However I would say the squeak is not very sensitive and you need to hit it very specially to hear it.
I have ordered about 4 times the killer whale squeaky shoes, and every time I get the wrong order this time I got the sharks, which is better than last time I got the mermaid twice and I have no little girls. 😞.
The Mermaid sandals are this summer’s favorite sandal. With the squeakers - Grandma always knows exactly where the toddler is!
Let I said above we just love these shoes and so does my grand daughter. We also tried the extenders awesome especially with the braces she wears . You have a great product.
My son has wide feet, sensory issues, a tendency to toe walk and is very picky. I bought these shoes trying to find anything he might wear. He will now only wear these! The squeakers have helped him to walk on his heels because he likes hearing the squeaking. They hold up extremely well, clean easily, and are comfy.
