Shoes are good as far as the fit for his smo's but the stitching is already coming apart and they are not even 3 ish weeks old and he is a 2 yr old that doesn't walk and has Down Syndrome. So it's not like he's hard on his shoes. The fit though is good.
My son is obsessed with stepping in the dog water bowl. These shoes are wide enough that his toes don't get awfully irritated against the toe box, and they dry quickly for our next adventure!
